Standard Manufacturer Warranty
All brand-new cameras, lenses, drones, and electronic lighting equipment sold by Legit Joint come with a standard 1-year manufacturer warranty unless otherwise stated on the product page. This warranty guarantees that your equipment will function as intended and is free from factory defects.
What is Covered?
The warranty covers internal hardware failures and manufacturing defects that occur during normal, professional use. This includes sensor faults, internal motherboard failures, and defective autofocus motors in lenses.
What is NOT Covered?
Warranties are voided by improper use or environmental negligence. The following scenarios are strictly excluded from warranty coverage:
- Physical Damage: Drops, impacts, or cracked screens.
- Drone Crashes: Pilot error, collision with obstacles, or flying in high winds.
- Water & Element Damage: Submersion, rain damage, or internal sand/dust buildup.
- Power Surges: Short circuits caused by faulty third-party batteries, generators, or unstable power grids.
- Unauthorized Repairs: Any attempt to open, modify, or repair the equipment by a non-certified technician.
How to Initiate a Warranty Claim
If your equipment develops a fault covered under warranty, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with the following:
- Your original Order ID.
- The product’s serial number.
- A detailed description of the fault, along with a short video or photos demonstrating the issue.
Once we verify your claim, you will be instructed to ship the item to our Lagos facility. We will act as the liaison between you and the manufacturer’s authorized service center in Nigeria to ensure your gear is repaired or replaced as efficiently as possible.
